Dr. Daniel J. Larsen, DC
When Dr. Larsen graduated from high school in Racine, WI, his dream was to work for a big corporation. He started majoring in Engineering but after a couple of years it just did not have the same appeal as it had earlier. He explored the medical field but his father who was a physician told him, “There are too many drugs and unnecessary surgeries”. Something clicked, and he went full-blown into becoming a chiropractor. He was thrilled with that decision and has never looked back.
Dr. Larsen believes in on-going education and has completed training in many areas of chiropractic studies following his doctorate at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.
He has also taken classes from some of the best in chiropractic, even getting some of his education from Harvard. He has a passion for learning by keeping up to date on new advances in Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Care. As a result, he now includes state-of-the-art technology and equipment to reduce the number of patient visits.
Denver, CO, was a great place to practice for Dr. Larsen’s first ten years but his roots have always been back in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He fell in love with Stillwater and has been there since 2004. His mission is to help patients get to a lifestyle that is pain-free. Each patient is important to him and it gives him great joy when he hears, “Hey, Dr. Larsen, I don’t know how you do it, but I feel better now than I have in years!”
Born in Milwaukee Dr. Larsen grew up with his brother, Steve, who are both Packer Backers when not supporting the Vikings. He always enjoys giving his nephew rides on his motorcycle and Jeep. Dr. Larsen loves to stay active by participating in various sporting activities including boating right here in Stillwater. He volunteers his time in the community and is actively involved with Eagle Brook Church in Woodbury.
Dr. Larsen has been in practice for over 25 years He has been treating patients in Stillwater, Hudson, Saint Paul, Lake Elmo, Grant, Oakdale, Bayport, Somerset, White Bear Lake, Mahtomedi, Houlton, and surrounding areas.
The doctor you choose does make a difference!
Marilyn Larsen, Chiropractic Assistant
Marilyn was born and raised on a farm in northern Iowa, went on to graduate from Iowa State, and then moved to Milwaukee. Her 14-year teaching career ended due to a problem with her vocal cords.
A few years later she became a district sales manager with Avon Products and was doing well, even earning a trip to Japan one year. Unfortunately, that all ended abruptly when another driver bolted in front of her car when she was driving 45 mph past New Glarus, WI. That accident resulted in a whiplash but paved the way for chiropractic visits and the “right” therapy, freeing her from all pain.
Years later she had an opportunity to work with Dr. Larsen and has been at his clinic for the past several years. She can empathize with most patients who come in with pain and offers support as much as possible.
She has seen many “miracles” at Rivertown Chiropractic & Wellness and is excited to see even more patient progress as Dr. Larsen keeps adding advanced technology procedures and equipment along with the adjustments.
